Legal Experience & Education

Adam’s legal career began as a summer associate at the predecessor of DLA Piper (San Diego-based Gray Cary Ware & Friedenrich LLP). Subsequently, as an attorney at DLA, Adam gained extensive experience with various types of intellectual property matters. Adam later joined the firm Gazdzinski & Associates, PC - a boutique intellectual property firm in San Diego. As a shareholder at Gazdzinski & Associates, Adam developed his own dynamic practice focusing on patent infringement litigation, trademark prosecution and enforcement, intellectual property licensing and trade secret counseling and litigation.

 

Adam received his Bachelor’s degree from Pomona College in Claremont, California and his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana summa cum laude.

Bar & Community

Adam is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in California, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, DC, and has handled numerous cases in other jurisdictions and abroad.

 

Adam is on the Board of Directors of the ALS Association Greater San Diego Chapter and is the past chairman of that board. Adam is also on the National ALS Association’s Board of Representatives. Adam was previously a board member of the Anti-Defamation League and the chair of its Civil Rights Committee.

Personal

Adam resides in Coronado, California with his wife and two children. His hobbies include coaching youth sports, golf, camping, fishing, music, travel and spending time with his family and friends.
